Terms of Service

1. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Nezzo for a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.
• Give accurate information, keep your login details secure and tell us promptly at support@nezzolab.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account is for one person. Don't share it.

2. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Nezzo has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. What each includes, and its limits, is shown on the pricing page and may change over time.
• Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly as you choose, at the price shown at checkout plus any applicable taxes. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues receipts and refunds. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
• You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing in the app. Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for; you won't be charged again.
• Refunds: any payment can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of being charged; after that, payments aren't refunded for unused time. See the Refund Policy. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you have, including consumer withdrawal rights where they apply.
• We'll give you at least [30] days' notice of a price increase, by email or in the app. You can cancel before it takes effect.
• If a payment fails and isn't resolved, your account moves to the Free plan.

If you move to the Free plan, nothing is deleted: data beyond the Free plan's limits stays viewable but becomes read-only until you're back within the limits or upgrade.

3. Fair use of AI features

The assistant and document import features have daily usage limits for each plan, shown on the pricing page. They exist to keep the service sustainable and may be adjusted.

4. Your content

You own the formulas, data and other content you put into Nezzo. You give us permission to host, copy and process it only as needed to provide and secure the service for you — for example, to store it, calculate with it and back it up.

Only upload or import content you have the right to use. If you import formulas or documents from others (for example formulas you've bought), make sure your licence allows it.

You can download your content and delete your account at any time from Business → Account → Your data. Deleting your account cancels any subscription and deletes your content as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your clients' personal data

If you store information about your own clients, you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf, as described in section 6 of the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store it and for informing your clients.

6. Compliance and safety information

Nezzo helps you work with regulatory information — including IFRA Standards, EU cosmetics regulations on allergens and prohibited substances, product information file checklists and certificates of conformity. Please read this section carefully.

• Nezzo is a calculation and record-keeping tool. It does not replace a cosmetic product safety assessment, a qualified safety assessor, or your own regulatory obligations.
• Regulatory data is imported from official published sources, but it can be incomplete, out of date or superseded, and matching materials to it depends on the names, CAS numbers and constituent data available. Typical compositions of natural materials are indicative, not measurements of your batch.
• Results are only as accurate as the formula, material and supplier data they're based on. Always verify against your suppliers' documentation and the regulations that apply where you sell.
• Certificates, labels and reports you generate are issued by you, under your responsibility. We don't certify products.
• You remain solely responsible for the safety, labelling and legal compliance of the products you make and sell.

7. AI-generated results

Document import and the assistant use AI, which can make mistakes. Review extracted data and assistant answers before you rely on or save them; the app asks you to check imported results for this reason.

8. Integrations and third-party services

If you connect Nezzo to other services (such as online shops or payment providers), their own terms apply to your use of them. We're not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes they make that affect an integration.

9. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Nezzo. In particular, don't:

• break the law, or infringe others' intellectual property or privacy;
• try to access other users' data, probe or bypass security or usage limits, or disrupt the service;
• use automated means to scrape the service or resell access to it without our permission;
• upload malware or unlawful content.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with notice where reasonable.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Nezzo available and your data safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove a significant paid feature, we'll tell you in advance.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Nezzo and delete your account at any time. We may end these terms or your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach them, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we'll give reasonable notice and a chance to export your data, and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law: Nezzo is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data you could have exported; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period [or a fixed minimum amount].

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app at least [30] days before they take effect. If you keep using Nezzo after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes are subject to the courts of British Columbia, Canada — without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory laws, or the courts, of the country where they live.
